Magento / Front End Developer / Programmer

As a digital agency focused on doing things right, the person we hire will manage a wide variety of digitally related client projects, with a strong emphasis on communication and team coordination. We need someone who is responsible, well-organized and self-motivated to join our team as a full-time Magento / Front End Developer.

You will be responsible for working on a range of projects - from maintaining / updating existing sites to creating custom web applications. A proactive, accountable and detail oriented individual is required. 

We have an opening for a full time front-end developer who is experienced with HTML5, jQuery, and CSS development. Someone who dreams in code but has a love affair with UI design.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Working with the dev team to ensure that projects are implemented according to the specifications, timeline and budget. 
  • Presenting recommendations and quotes on the development of projects. 
  • Assisting in the care of site updates, upgrades and other support tasks. 
  • Contributing to testing and QA of the work done. 
  • Working directly with the Lead Developer. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Passion for beautiful design and UI 
  • Complete command over HTML5 and CSS3 
  • Experience developing Magento themes from scratch
  • Experience with the latest Magento version
  • Proficient in JavaScript and jQuery 
  • Passion for new web technologies 
  • 2+ years of experience 
  • Proficiency in other dev languages is preferred 
  • Photoshop/Illustrator skills are a plus 
  • Strong intermediate analysis and debugging skills 
  • Familiar with web standards, browser compatibility and overall best practices 
  • Disciplined, organized and reliable work habits

  • Requires good communication and writing/ documentation skills

Full Stack Web Developer / Programmer

We need someone who is responsible, well- organized and self-motivated to join our team as a full-time web developer/programmer. If you know what ‘PHP’ stands for, that’s a good start, because here’s what the job entails:  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Working with the dev team to ensure that projects are implemented according to the specifications, timeline and budget

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of related PHP experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Intermediate knowledge in OOP methods with PHP5 & MySQL
  • Advanced knowledge of QJBU, LIPs & SQU1RT (those aren’t real things - just making sure you’re paying attention and not just skimming this list)
  • Experience with a PHP CMS’s such as Magento, Drupal, Wordpress
  • Experience with a version control system such as Git
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript
  • Strong intermediate analysis & debugging skills
  • Usability & planning, architecture background
  • Familiarity with, and capable of, implementing web standards, browser compatibility & overall best practices

PPC Specialist

9thCO’s PPC team is looking for another PPC Specialist who breathes paid search and is able to build PPC campaigns with the most current, optimized tactics. With a passion to learn and grow, this candidate also seeks to understand Google Analytics to remain a competitive asset to 9thCO’s team.

While being a PPC powerhouse is an integral part of this role, the bigger challenge (which we know you can take on!) will be demonstrating out-of-the-box thinking towards client work, and always being ready for something new. With the right attitude, this role will always be fun and always be rocking the status-quo of PPC!

Your Skill-Set:

  • Deep understanding of PPC.

Account Manager / Digital Project Manager

Content Writer

As a digital agency that is focused on doing it right, this individual will proactively manage a wide variety of projects including articles, headlines, website copy, ads, proposals for clients in many different industries.

Your Skill-Set:

  • B.A. or MFA (English as minor)
  • 2+ years of previous copywriting experience.
  • Mastery of the English language in terms of both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

  • Research and generate topic ideas for content using keyword research tools.
  • Source images to accompany and amplify your content, when necessary.

  • Assist in conducting keyword research and make use of SEO best practices to optimize content.
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise with content marketing / SEO and stay on top with industry trends and best practices.
  • Proofread, edit and make revisions to content from other writers.
  • Put together and plan content schedules.
