Global Furniture Group is a successful Canadian Office Furniture manufacturer. Their reputation for excellence is built on a 50 year history of offering quality products and service.

The Challenge:

Global’s website was incredibly outdated and suffered from years of patchwork. As a result, it was unusable and didn’t accurately reflect Global’s brand personality or the quality of their products.

The Solution:

Working in unison with Global’s own rebranding efforts, 9thCO created the digital version of its business that included an online showroom, a dealer reference, employee resources and a corporate profile - all available in Canadian English, US English and French. A clean, polished and user-friendly layout was balanced by a simplified structure for organizing content, intuitive navigation, automated detection of visitors’ location to display relevant content, product options and related costs that were pulled from Global’s internal systems, a shopping cart-like feature, Responsive Design for mobile, and AODA compliance was implemented. Lastly, 9thCO redirected thousands of old URLs to ensure visitors and Google could easily find the new location of old pages.

The Results:

  • Increased average session duration by 42% (00:06:53 up from 00:04:51 seconds).
  • Decreased mobile bounce rate by 73%.
  • Improved page stickiness: 69% of external visitors scroll beyond 50% of pages.
